WA SiteAssist - Test Drive
Take a look at my latest Macromedia Captivate project for WebAssist (The leading provider for Macromedia Extensions). For this project, I created a full interactive simulation for WebAssist's new arrival WA SiteAssist. DWFAQ Announces Strip List Whitespace extension for DWMX & DWMX 2004
Ever created a menu using list item tags only to find that when you test the page in Internet Explorer there are gaps between your menu items? If you have then you've encountered the IE whitespace bug. Now Angela C. Buraglia founder of DreamweaverFAQ.com has released a free extension for Dreamweaver MX and Dreamweaver MX 2004 that automatically sends the bug packing. A more detailed description plus an example of the bug in action are available by this site's author Mark Fletcher on the Strip List Whitespace product page.

The waiting is over! Macromedia has released the updater to Dreamweaver MX 2004. The Dreamweaver updater shows performance improvements of up to 70% on the Mac platform, restores the Timelines feature, and fixes more bugs than in any other release. In addition, there are some changes to the Dreamweaver Developer Center including updated articles and improved navigation, new Trial Evaluation Guides to help you get the most out of your trial software, and policy updates regarding upgrades and the use and distribution of Flash components.

Happy Birthday Lucy
Today is my daughter's third birthday. I can hardly believe that another year has flown by, it still seems like yesterday that we were bringing her home from the hospital. Lucy was born three years ago at 3-25pm GMT and weighed 10 lbs 12 oz's.

New Draft CSS Reader Type Media
The W3C has released a new CSS working draft that in the future might allow CSS authors to create style sheets that instruct devices how to display and speak a document or display and render it in Braille.
